Continue your decolonizing/re-indigenizing journey through deep inquiry into your own feelings, emotional states, body, Ancestry and history.
Take responsibility for their dream practice and actively engage in it as a practice–meaning you are ready and willing to make the space and create internal and external boundaries to engage in the channeled meditations, prompts, and materials created for you.
Get down-and-dirty with facing aspects of the self and the Spirit that need your care and attention. If you are new to shadow work, this may not be the space for you.
Live curiously and patiently as you learn to follow your dreams and what they reveal over time. AWAKE is a practice and a process that will build as you continue to engage in the work and let your Ancestors, Guides and Higher Self lead you more and more.
**An important note that this course is run and held by a shamanic medicine woman + ancestral muse, not a therapist. Please consider whether or not you need deep psychological support before joining this course. There are decolonized therapeutic spaces that may be a better fit for you if you are seeking high-touch mental support. AWAKE may also serve as a great compliment to therapy. Dreamwork is a way that We, traditionally, have come into alignment with what we are truly called to do in our lives. Dreams were taken seriously as the central council for the leadership of many traditions, and considered sacred messages from our Ancestors. I believe firmly that our Souls remember this and we are missing it collectively in the modern world. Today, we seek legibility and validation not from our dreams first, but from the external world, which is part of what feeds the chaos and confusion of the day. As we return to our internal world first, our Souls and the Ancestors can co-create with us from an empowered place. We take action in the world, not from what the world expects or demands, not from the status quo of an unwell culture, but from our own Sovereign guidance, knowing and Truth. We need as many of us as possible living from this level of wisdom and insight to fan the fire of the new world now.

I am a 5-dimensional Artist-Healer and initiated iSangoma Priestess, devoted to soul-level liberation and cellular-level healing for ourselves and our lineages.
For the past 15 years, I have developed a process of deep inquiry, collaboration, dramaturgy and practice as a performing/prayerforming artist, working across many spectrums of expression (read my artistic bio here). I am the author + vessel of the widely-praised show turned book, SKiNFOLK, a guide for so many into honoring Ancestors through their Art.
Alongside my years of public practice as an Artist, I have led, sat, and trained in private healing spaces with several hundred of human beings; becoming a skilled healing practitioner through years of humble study and underground service in deinstitutionalized, reinidigenizing spaces.
With the Blessings of my Ancestors, Guides, my teacher, Makhosi Himi Gogo Thule Ngane (@makhosistarmother), and my Soul-calling as a Muse for collective, liberatory ways of Being, I incite and inspire sublime new forms of art, structures, and communal systems that break the brutal boundaries of the colonial imagination.
From my Cosmic Divine Essence, I practice the Sovereign Power of healing in an indigenous, soma-feministically rooted way; combining Black Feminist Thought + Practice, the Black US Hoodoo + Ubungoma ("people of the drum") traditions of my Ancestors, Black Fugitivity + Politics of Refusal, and the High Artistry of my Spirit to bring you these offerings.
