Thank you for this wonderful journey. I finally just read what came from our sessions, trying to find something to share, and I guess I wasn't as awake as I thought, haha. I am awash with gratitude to the group, your guidance, and the ancestors for the comfort I received...
Here are the seeds that want to be shared:

Resting is ancient! Older and deeper than the heightened trauma response I seem to be stuck in. And there is strength and sustainability and sustenance there. There is grit and survival and fucking loyalty in our recent family trauma, everyday witnessing the wake of genocide. But what I'm looking for to balance that, to resolve it from my nervous system lies underneath it. Before colonialism - despite colonialism. Family. Rest. Love. Art. Healing. Somatic understanding. Movement. Purposeful and meaningful movement. I am a conduit of joy, presence between realms, between times, between earth and air.
Walker work is a reservoir of glorious conviction. Its water is steady, flowing freely from within. And while you’re welcome to drink these gifts, frankly, neither presence nor applause are the aim of her offerings. Walker work will work—whether you like it or not. Like all good medicines, its power is one part mystery, one part its hopefulness to heal.

The wisdom in this insight, and the gratitude I feel for it, has stayed with me since. And the photo...that was the portal for the communication is now on my altar, and I see it every day, and it contains the whole message. It's like a consecrated object now, an enlivened and spiritually charged object that continues to bring healing and compassionate perspective into my life. Truly such a gift. As with all magic, I'm not sure how you did it! But you created such a gentle, relaxed, safe space for us that allowed for humor, surprise, connection, big catharsis (omg I cried so much and so hard!, it was bananas!) — I felt everything and everyone was welcome, I loved that we were welcome to connect with one another, and I felt completely cared for in the structure you provided with each activity/gesture of the session leading so naturally one to the next while you still held space for the unexpected.

The medicine you bring is multidimensional. It moves unbound by consensus "reality" of time and space; Unbound by social
"norms" of "respectability" and
"composure". It asks us to decompose. And in that be reborn.
Celebrating and bowing in deep gratitude for the work of asking us to face our own colonial minds, to own our own projections of expectation and resentment and distaste, to spiral back into belonging and counsel and grief-tending and unbecoming with our own ancestors, to see the hilarious spectacle of our own distortions.
There is no legacy that cannot be reclaimed, no tragedy that cannot be corrected. There is no such thing as an irretrievable lineage. You are here. Therefore so is Love. Where we go back and fetch the truth, we also bring the Love. Let the Love guide.
Divination is a heart-opening trust activation and portal to the Sacred. It is almost always the beginning of a deep collaboration for me. Divination is a natural state of Seeing that all indigenous cultures and therefore all people have a connection to. I am passionate about reconnecting us to our unique power to Divine and see life, experience, dreams and creation through the Ancestors' eyes.
I carry on the work of my lineages: the many warriors, dancers, lovers, and wisdom keepers. I carry on the work of in the Black intellectual, artistic and spiritual tradition that reaches beyond the scope of so-called history and into the memories and dreams of the first peoples. The San/Bushmen--Ancestors of all humankind.
